Yasbelle Kerkow is an Australian-born Fijian artist. Her arts and activism practices centre weaving, climate change, Melanesian solidarity and communicating stories from Black Oceania through the arts. Yasbelle has previously been a finalist in the 2020 Churchie Emerging Art Prize, and a participant in 2021’s Makeshift Publics at Arts House. She is currently working as a Creative Producer (Community Partnerships) for cohealth Arts Gen, an organisation that uses art experiences to address the social determinants of health.
