Odgerel Odonchimed is recognised as one of the active leaders in the development of arts in Mongolia having worked in the field for 23 years. Her career in the arts started in 2002 as a volunteer at Arts Council of Mongolia (ACM) and has since held multiple roles within the organisation, including Red Ger Art Gallery curator, Fundraising Coordinator, Arts Education Program Director and Development Program Director. Odgerel has been the Executive Director of the Arts Council of Mongolia since 2016. She has extensive knowledge of both traditional and contemporary arts, with strong connections with other leaders in business, government, civil society and the philanthropic sector both within Mongolia and internationally. Her contributions to the arts in Mongolia was recognised in 2024 with the Chevalier Medal, Silver Order of Arts and Letters of France.
