Kyati Suharto is an interdisciplinary artist working across drawing, ceramics, music and performance. Drawing upon the interplay of sound and visual art, Kyati's practice is an exploration of her cross-cultural identity as well as the exploration of the transformative qualities of sound. Kyati is a collective member of Woven Kolektif and Suara Indonesia Dance; both groups having formed through shared diasporic connections, drawing influences from their mixed Indonesian heritage and Australian upbringing.
