Tower Park is a featured work in the NUW🌏RLDS exhibition, it is an experimental work that melds the visceral dynamism of experimental dance with the transformative capabilities of motion capture technology, leading to the interplay between the physical and the virtual. Drawing inspiration from the artistry of puppetry and ventriloquism, Nexus manifests a blend of human and virtual personas; the performer becomes both the puppeteer and the conduit. In this dynamic interplay, the real and the virtual coalesce into a dance of control and relinquishment, exploring the intricate relationship between agency and surrender. 

Employing motion capture technology, the performer’s body is translated into an array of virtual perspectives, with each limb operating as an independent camera. This innovative approach affords a multifaceted view of the dance, enabling a fluid amalgamation of visual storytelling that defies conventional cinematic norms. Each limb of the dancer acts as a separate virtual camera, capturing angles that transcend the limitations of human sight, while simultaneously guiding the corresponding virtual limbs within a responsive digital environment.
