4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art & Eastern Margins have come together to collaborate on a very special CLUB 4A @ VIVID this June 2024!

Continuing their shared trajectory of merging experimental club culture and contemporary dance through the lens of the global Asian diaspora, this edition promises to be a unique fusion of music, visual, and performance art.

The event will showcase a diverse lineup of musicians and performers, offering an alternative to traditional four to the floor dance parties. From queer installation and performance, to sounds that traverse ambient / textural alongside future R&B, post-punk and maximalist trance hyperpop.

Since 2018, CLUB 4A has redefined the presentation of celebrated artists from Asia and the subcontinent. By shifting their works from traditional galleries to nightlife venues, we offer a fresh perspective that imbues these creations with new meanings and resonances.

Eastern Margins is a London based collective, music label and event series that amplifies alternative Asian culture. This event stands as a vibrant testament to the mission of fostering cross-cultural dialogue and showcasing the artistic talents of the Asian diaspora. They have hosted multiple shows and tours across the UK, Europe, North America, East and South East Asia. This is their first event in Australia.
