Trâm Nguyễn was born in Hanoi, Vietnam. She holds a BA in Photographic Arts from University of Westminster and MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art London with a thesis focusing on the role of religion and language in colonial histories through the work of Danh Võ. She has previously worked for a number of art galleries and institutions in London. Currently working as part of the Public Programmes team at Tate, Trâm is also one-half of NB, an independent arts publisher based in London. Her research and curatorial interests are primarily concerned with the decolonisation of education, representation of queer identities as well as overarching themes surrounding the Vietnamese diaspora.
