SUCHI

she/her

With roots in Delhi, but hailing from Oslo and now based in Manchester, SUCHI's distinct sound is best experienced in her dynamic sets infused with house, percussion, bass, and techno with a flair for the experimental.

She made waves last year with appearances at Fabric, Warehouse Project, By:Larm, Sonar Festival, Lost Village, Field Day, and ADE. She also appeared on a Boiler Room tour in India with Parris and Nikki Nair, as well as supporting Jon Hopkins in Australia.

As a producer SUCHI is known to delve into influences she grew up with, rather than being confined to genres. This is evident in all her releases, spanning from her debut EP “Swift” [Coastal Haze],, to her most recent EP “Birdy Bell” [Ghostly/Spectral Sound], both of which received critical acclaim from Resident Advisor and Mixmag. Her single ‘Seher’, featuring the vocals of Qawwali singer, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan premiered as Mary Anne Hobb’s ‘Near Future’ track on BBC R6.

With her ear for the leftfield and her passion for showcasing her South Asian and Norwegian roots, SUCHI is an artist poised to impact the global dance music scene. It's no wonder she was named one of the top 25 artists to watch by Mixmag and one of the 12 artists you need to listen to in 2022 by DJ Mag. SUCHI has also been championed by the likes of Pitchfork, Vogue, Rolling Stone, Wired, and Electronic Beats. Her music has been supported by Ben UFO, Eris Drew, HAAi, Logic1000, Four Tet, Skrillex, and more.
