Scalymoth (Prianka, she/her) is a Meanjin-based DJ and producer smiling her way through the electronic scene. Since beginning her DJ journey in 2020 on a Covid lockdown whim, Scalymoth has become a staple on dancefloors across Meanjin and airwaves across the globe, fuelled by her passion for music and ever-broadening taste. With support slots under her belt such as X Club, Yung Singh, DJ Swisha, Nikki Nair, Kessler, UNIIQU3, Overmono, Surgeon and Skin on Skin, Scalymoth is a force to be reckoned with. Scalymoth has released music on Backpocket Slammers (Naarm, Aus), Early Reflex (Turin, Italy) and Besancon Rythmique Club (France). She is also a founding member of Australia-based South Asian collective, Kerfew, and is one of the Kerfew Radio hosts.
