Hugh Hudson

Assistant Professor Hugh Hudson completed his PhD at The University of Melbourne and has written courses on curatorship, conservation, and book arts. He's taught at The University of Melbourne, La Trobe University in Melbourne, and universities in China, before joining the Graduate Institute of Art History at National Taiwan Normal University in 2017. He has written courses on curatorship, conservation, and book arts, as well as the new course ‘Theoretical and Critical Studies of Contemporary Photomedia in the Asia-Pacific.’ His research publications cover an extensive range of Western art history subjects, most recently, the intersections between colonialism, nationalism, and transnationalism in early photography.
