Bobuq Sayed

Bobuq Sayed is a queer Afghan writer, performance artist and former editor of Un Magazine and Archer Magazine. Their writing has appeared in The Drift, Gulf Coast, New Australian Fiction 2022, Meanjin, the Collisions anthology, The Rumpus, Kill Your Darlings and Overland, and they have been supported by Lambda Literary, Tin House, Kundiman and the VONA/Voices foundation. They were a James A. Michener fellow in the University of Miami's MFA program in fiction, where they received the Irene Pines Award, and they are a 2022-23 Steinbeck Fellow at San José State University. Bobuq is currently based in Miami, Florida.
