Ash Kok (they/them) is an Australian born Chinese textiles-based artist and fashion designer, working on unceded Wangal Land. Their practice involves the blending of repurposed textiles and textures to create wearable art and custom commissions. 

Delving deeper interpersonally, Ash’s practice seeks to discover the intentions of the wearer, whether subconscious or conscious, and facilitates their most desired way of moving through this world. 

Ash’s practice is continually shifting, recognising that each individual’s context and perception of self informs the creative collaborative experience. That is, Sook Studio creations are often ideas that have been allowed to actualise through a much deeper connection with the wearer: A divine collaboration, facilitated by and expanded through each other.
